Far From Stockholm is a solitary journey in the Swedish country, far off lands populated by small communities remained clear from big cities. JH Engström still uses the books to create a succession of ruptures and continuities: portraits disappear to unveil fragments of nature, black and white plates come after bright color photographs, ordinary structures fade before contemplative landscapes.
