a room [special edition]
213 x 340 x 5 mm, silkscreen softcover, 20 pages, signed edition of 100 copies
In February 2015 Daido Moriyama made a printing show entitled a room at the Akio Nagasawa Gallery in Tokyo. This book (of which there are two different versions: a room A and a room B) was made for this occasion. Invented in 1974 by Moriyama, this type of performance explores the concept of collective creation, in which participants are invited to choose the photographs they wish to assemble into a unique book published on the spot.
Limited edition of numbered 100 copies with silkscreen cover. The book is for sale as a hand-signed AP edition from the artist?s own possession. Images are example copy, each copy is different and unique.
