Coco Capitán

Coco Capitán (b. 1992, Seville, Spain; lives and works in London, UK) works across photography, prose, painting, drawing and installation. Her practice articulates a sustained continuity between personal research and commissioned projects.

Her work has been the subject of institutional solo exhibitions, including Is It Tomorrow Yet? at Daelim Museum (Seoul, South Korea, 2018), Busy Living: Everything with Everyone, Everywhere, All of the Time at MEP — Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris, France, 2019), and Ookini at the Kyotographie festival (Kyoto, Japan, 2023).

Capitán has collaborated with brands including Gucci and Dior, and her work has been published in numerous magazines including British Vogue, The New York Times Magazine and Vogue US.
